Position: Business Analyst
Role Overview:
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products while working directly with customers to identify functional and technical requirements. The ideal candidate should have a background in software development, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, product managers, and customers, to apply software development best practices, gather requirements, and support solution delivery in Agile environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform gap analysis between application functionalities and client requirements
- Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into user stories
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team
- Lead sprint refinement sessions and maintain the backlog in Jira
- Create and maintain requirements documentation and business process documentation
- Develop test plans, test cases, and testing procedures across the software development lifecycle
- Support QA activities and ensure traceability between requirements and testing
- Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in software development or business analysis
- Experience with change management and system upgrades/releases
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies; SAFe/Agile/Scrum certification is a plus
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders to resolve issues and define testing scope
