Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a Data Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of modern data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SQL, ETL processes, and working with cloud-based data services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-quality data availability for analytics and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and data transformations.
- Integrate data from diverse systems and formats (APIs, relational databases, flat files, streaming sources).
- Utilize cloud services such as AWS (e.g., S3, RDS, Glue, Lambda) to support data workflows.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, documentation, and metadata standards are adhered to.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve end-to-end pipeline performance and reliability.
- Contribute to automation and operational efficiency using DevOps concepts and tooling.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to support data delivery requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering or similar role.
- Strong SQL expertise for data analysis and queries
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., AWS Glue, Informatica, Alteryx).
- Experience working with Snowflake and/or Databricks in a modern data platform environment is a plus
- Proficiency in a scripting/programming language such as Python.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and data modeling principles.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and best practices for data management.
Note: Candidate must have been a resident of the United States for at least the last 3 years to meet background investigation eligibility.
